Roger Olsen, Lead Guitar / Vocals Roger began playing guitar in Jr. High. He and his brother formed "the Average Garage Band" and player at Jr. High and High School parties and dances, including 50's, 60's and current rock (now classic rock), In college Roger played in a variety of bands including classic rock, country, and he even played all over Utah, Idaho and Las Vegas for an Elvis Impersonator. Although Roger has always loved the Blues, during his senior year in college a childhood friend came to visit. His friend had a book of Muddy Waters songs. After playing a couple of tunes from the book, he was hooked on the blues and has been hooked ever since. He has spent his last 10 years in Washington after transplanting from sunny California (but don't hold that against him). He has played with a number of bands in the greater Seattle area including: Last Call, Isaac and the Jr. Mints, the Gypsy Soul Rockers, Temporary Fix, the Julie Powers Band and a Blues power trio he fronted - Diamond Ridge. He very much enjoys sharing the Blues music with the rest of the world. He formed Cold Shot a couple of years ago and is having more fun than Bill Clinton at intern orientation.
